I try to create otherworldliness to everyday situations. Every person and every thing has the power to save the day. I am just trying to capture the possibilities that we all possess.

Any project I am faced with, I use my knowledge of artistic principles that I have learned and experienced. I love the challenge of conquering a new project and deciding the medium that best represents the project as a whole.

I was born in Ohio. When I was 4, my parents took a gamble and moved my brother, grandma and I out west for a new lifestyle. My heart was raised in the west and I feel a livelihood here that I get from no other place. The open spaces, the rich history and the connectedness to nature is what has inspired my artwork.

I have two years of experience as a portrait photographer, and four years of experience as a graphic designer and illustrator. I received my B.F.A. in Graphic Design with a minor in English from Boise State University.
